Book is not worth the money in my opinion All total it is 70 pages the first 30 is a very high level discussion about the diet itself I probably could have gotten this off the internet with minimal effort The remaining 40 pages is filled with recipes which is what I really wanted The diet is structured around careful monitoring of the number of servings from various categories you eat eg vegetables fruits dairy meat etc and monitoring and restricting sodium and calorie intake my biggest gripe the recipes do not note any nutritional information at all or how portions are related to servings per category absolutely necessary to follow this diet Also serving sizes are all over the lot for recipes some serve 8 some 6 some 4 some 2 and some 1 It would be difficult to break them up for just 1 or 2 people
